Love, Baltimore Style is a dynamic project filled with dimensional flowers - a style that hearkens back to the Baltimore Album Quilts of the nineteenth century. The beautiful pink and yellow flowers remain as shown, no matter which border color you choose.

Fresh Fish is a whimsical project where you will paint a pre-printed fabric panel with Derwent Inktense Pencils. Each panel has been heat set and is backed with freezer paper to both stabilize the project and prevent any paint from leaking through the back. Included are instructions on how to use pencils, a chart for where to place each color and a template for the border. A set of at least 24 Derwent Inktense Pencils, 1/4 yard of border fabric, and a fabric medium such as clear Aloe Vera gel are required to finish the quilt top. Whether you paint these cute fish as instructed or come up with your own dynamic color palette, this project will be sure to spark your creativity and offer several hours of fun!

Midnight Garden is a fun project where you will paint a pre-printed fabric panel with Tsukineko inks. Included in the kit are the Midnight Garden pattern, instructions for mixing the ink and painting your project, a chart showing where to place each color, and freezer paper to back the dragonfly panel. The freezer paper is used to both stabilize the project and prevent any paint from leaking through the back. A set of Tsukinekio inks, border fabric, iridescent medium, and a fabric medium such as clear Aloe Vera gel are required to finish the quilt top. Midnight Garden is a fun and easy paint-by-number project for use with Tsukineko inks. Paint-by-number projects offer a delightful mix of relaxation, creativity, and instant gratification. Whether one seeks a stress-relieving hobby or a meaningful gift, Midnight Garden offers an accessible and satisfying artistic experience for all ages and skill levels. Tsukineko inks are required.
The supplemental ink kits for the Midnight Garden project come in three varieties and contain all of the Tsukineko inks to paint either the dragonfly, the flowers and greenery, or both. All kits come with pipettes and clear aloe vera gel that is used as a medium to mix the paints into. Tsukineko inks mixed with aloe vera gel produce vibrant colors that hold up to washing once heat set, give the fabric a soft hand and are easy and fun to work with!
The Supplemental Ink Kits for the Midnight Garden project contain all of the Tsukineko inks necessary to paint the dragonfly, the flowers and greenery in the background, or both!
This paint brush is excellent for painting the background areas of both the Illuminated Letter and Fresh Fish mini quilt.

Baltimore Album Quilts hold a special place in the world of quilting, with their intricate designs and rich history. Floral Baskets and Bouquets, Hearts, Cornucopias, Wreaths and Papercuts are among a wide array of motifs and patterns that were popular at the time.
These beautiful blocks are 14” x 14” and come as patterns only - no instructions. If your project calls for larger or smaller blocks, contact me and I will prepare them in the size you specify to help you make the Baltimore Album Quilt of your dreams.
